\u201cCOPYRIGHT IS A RIGHT\u201d<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The participants of the 2009 Socially Correct competition were invited to create a social campaign on a highly topical theme: copyright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of the competition, carried out in collaboration with the Spoleto Festival of the Two Worlds, and with the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Italian Copyright Association, was to create a social campaign to increase public awareness, especially that of the younger generation, on the necessity to protect the \u201coriginality\u201d of a work of art and preserve copyright \u2013 an issue of ever increasing importance also in the light of the development of an internet society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winning campaign was created by the \u201ccreative couple\u201d FEDERICO CAPELLI, Art Director and TOMMASO ZAGO, Copywriter, students of the \u201c Carlo Bo\u201d University of Urbino, under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Ritter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept of their campaign \u201cHow would the world be without copyright?\u201d is that a world without copyright would be one where artists would not be able to support themselves and therefore be forced to do other types of work. Mankind would have never known the works of art of many artists if they had not had the resources to enable them to dedicate their lives to art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title of the campaign \u201cWould cinema be same without copyright?\u201d depicts Alfred Hitchcock as a plumber. Conceived with irony, alluding to the work of art that made the person famous, one is invited to think about how different Hitchcock\u2019s life would have been if he had been a plumber and consequently we would never have been able to see \u201dPsycho\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners of the competition have been awarded a six-months\u2019 internship in the role of Art Director e Copywriter, in the creative department of the Milan office of the Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Federico e Tommaso, i vincitori di Socially Correct 2009<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fare il bilancio di un\u2019esperienza ancora in corso \u00e8 sempre molto difficile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sono passati gi\u00e0 tre mesi da quando abbiamo varcato per la prima volta le porte di quell\u2019edificio che ci incuteva un po\u2019 di timore ma ancora fatichiamo a realizzare cosa \u00e8 successo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La comunicazione di una vittoria inaspettata ha avuto per mesi il sapore dell\u2019incredulit\u00e0. Poi i complimenti, una cerimonia sfarzosa oltre ogni immaginazione, l\u2019imbarazzo del palcoscenico e un\u2019incessante domanda ripetuta da tutti e soprattutto da noi stessi \u201cChiss\u00e0 come sar\u00e0?\u201d.L\u2019ansia si mescolava al desiderio di confrontarsi con una realt\u00e0 sconosciuta ed ambita, fino a quando\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A poche ore dal nostro arrivo, le presentazioni di rito, la sistemazione nell\u2019ufficio, neanche il tempo di mettersi comodi che ci siamo improvvisamente ritrovati catapultati nel mondo della pubblicit\u00e0. Dalla parte non di chi la vede ma, per la prima volta, di chi la fa.Quanto avevamo fino ad allora letto sui libri, immaginato e desiderato prendeva finalmente corpo in una solida realt\u00e0: a volte migliore, a volte peggiore ma sempre speciale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oggi ci troviamo a vivere un\u2019esperienza impagabile, senza alcun dubbio dura e difficile ma anche ricca di bei momenti, condivisi con alcuni tra i migliori professionisti del settore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Per tutto questo, e per molto altro ancora che non siamo riusciti ad esprimere con queste poche parole, dobbiamo ringraziare la famiglia Ettorre: Annette, Andrea, Francesca e Lorenzo. Il loro impegno nel promuovere la comunicazione sociale e offrire agli studenti l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di mettere a frutto il loro talento, rende alla memoria di Paolo Ettorre l\u2019onore che si merita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
